Google Cloud has partnered with SQD (formerly Subsquid) to bring verified blockchain data into its BigQuery service. This move gives customers access to on-chain records that have been checked for accuracy before they reach a query.

The deal covers ten blockchain networks, with complete histories going back to their genesis blocks. Every block is subject to six separate cryptographic checks to catch missing or inconsistent entries.

Google Cloud covers the storage costs for these public datasets, and customers only pay after their monthly query processing exceeds the first terabyte, which is free.

SQD CEO Wanja Oberhof framed this partnership as a turning point for how businesses treat blockchain records. 'Enterprise-grade blockchain data has arrived,' he said.
