Google Cloud Launches Industry-Specific Solutions Platform with Gemini Enterprise
Google Cloud has taken a significant step in its industry-specific solutions strategy with the launch of Gemini Enterprise. This new platform combines AI agents, enterprise data, specialized skills, and partners to transform industry-specific solutions.
According to Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, general-purpose AI is not enough to handle these complex industry-specific solutions. He emphasized that this is just the beginning, and the company plans to expand Gemini Enterprise into other industries beyond financial services and legal.
The platform's success is due in part to its ability to make it easy for partners to develop specific solutions and for those solutions to be discoverable by customers or prospects. Kurian described it as 'nice scaffolding' for partners, allowing them to build on top of the platform with ease.
