Google Deletes 449 S. Korean YouTube Channels for Politically Charged Content

Google terminated 449 South Korean YouTube channels in Q2 for politically charged content.

The largest share, 367 channels, were shut down in May, just before the June 3 local elections.

The channels were closed for sharing content critical or supportive of the South Korean government and expressing support for or disapproval of particular political parties or figures.
