Google Education Leader to Discuss AI Impact on Education at Bethany College

Bethany College has announced that Steven Butschi, director of education for North America at Google, will be delivering the 2026 Grimes Lecture. The lecture is scheduled to take place on September 19th at 10:15 a.m. in Wailes Theatre as part of Homecoming weekend.

Butschi's talk will focus on the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in education and learning. He will also lead an interactive experience where attendees can engage with these technologies firsthand, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The Grimes Lecture Series aims to bring distinguished leaders and innovators to campus to engage the Bethany community in conversations surrounding leadership, service, innovation, and global impact.
