Google Enters Bluetooth Tracker Market with Pixel Tag
Google has released its own Bluetooth tracker, called the Pixel Tag, which allows Android phone owners to locate their belongings. This move comes ahead of Google's Made by Google event, where it unveiled its new Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5.
The Pixel Tag supports ultra-wideband technology, allowing for precise location tracking within a few feet. However, this is not the first Android-compatible Bluetooth tracker to offer this feature; Motorola's Moto Tag 2 also boasts ultra-wideband support.
The Pixel Tag will be available in November and will cost $30, with a pack of four going for $100. In comparison, Apple's AirTag costs $29, while Motorola's Moto Tag 2 is currently on sale for $20 ($10 off its original price).
