Google has expanded its AI Mode in Search to include travel planning and booking capabilities. The company announced on Thursday that users can now manage their travel itineraries conversationally, comparing options from over 300 airlines and travel sites before completing transactions directly through the search interface.

The new features allow users to track flight prices across more than 180 countries and territories, receiving direct email notifications when prices fluctuate. This feature is available in natural language, allowing users to specify routes and travel dates without needing to navigate a complex interface.

Additionally, Google has introduced a global loyalty feature that allows users to search for flights and hotels using points or miles across initial partners including American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Choice Hotels, Hilton, and Wyndham. The company plans to expand this feature to include other partners in the future.
