Google Expands Find Hub with Tracker-Free Item Location

Google has announced new features coming to Android devices as part of its feature drop update. Among the highlights is the expansion of Find Hub, which will introduce a new way to find important items without having to attach a tracker.

The Find Hub update will allow users to ask Gemini to remember where they put an item like a passport or keys. Gemini will save the location and let users add a photo. When needed again, users can ask Gemini for that location, or find the item in Find Hub's remembered items tab.

Other updates include Guided Vision, which uses the phone's camera to help read labels or menus, and Chat themes for Google Messages, allowing users to select a background image that text bubbles will automatically match. Additionally, everyone in a Google Message chat can create and edit notes through Google Keep, enabling collaboration on shared lists.
