Google Expands Presence in Oklahoma with New Data Center
Google announced plans to build a new data center in Stillwater and expand its existing facility in Pryor, Oklahoma. The move is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the region.
The announcement was made on August 14, 2025, with Gov. Kevin Stitt, Ruth Porat, president and chief investment officer of Alphabet and Google, and J.T. Tolliver with Google in attendance.
The new data center will be built in Stillwater, while the existing facility in Pryor will be expanded. The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and stimulate economic growth in the area.
