Google Fan Leaves After a Decade: Why I'm Switching to Samsung
For nearly a decade, Google's Pixel phones have been my go-to choice for Android devices. But after using them extensively, I've decided to switch to Samsung Galaxy phones.
I still admire Google's approach to making Android phones, which once offered clean software, great cameras, and timely updates. However, over the years, the 'stock' Android experience has disappeared, replaced by a more Google-centric approach that focuses on AI-driven features.
The Pixel 11 series did not impress me, with its lackluster hardware upgrades and disappointing performance compared to flagship processors. I'm also concerned about the limited support for new software features in older Pixel models.
Samsung, on the other hand, offers a more appealing option with its One UI experience, which brings a steady stream of new features across their range. Their flagships have true high-end performance, and their cameras are now preferred over Google's, thanks to lower AI reliance and a more powerful app.
