Google Gemini Now Lets Users Remove Visible Watermarks from AI-Generated Content
Google has made a change to its Gemini AI image generator that will be welcome news for some users. The tool, which uses AI to generate images, had previously added a visible watermark to all of its generated images. This was seen as a drawback by some, particularly when compared to ChatGPT's latest model.
However, Google has now introduced a new setting that allows users to choose whether or not they want the watermark on their images. This option will be available in Gemini and Flow, and will also soon be available in Google Search's AI Mode.
The good news doesn't stop there - this change is not just limited to images. Users will also be able to remove watermarks from videos created with Gemini Omni and songs generated with Lyria.
There is one caveat, however. In countries where it is required by law to keep the watermark, users will still see them on their generated content.
