Google Health App Update Boosts Workout Logging and Maps
Google Health has rolled out an update to its app for Android and iOS users. The new version, v5.07, brings improved manual workout logging capabilities. Users can now easily add or adjust their metrics when logging a workout manually.
The changes will appear in the post-workout summary more quickly than before. This update also includes improvements to the maps experience, with faster loading times and smoother rendering. Additionally, trail runs and incline runs are now included in 'Running Distance' totals.
Another feature of this update is a fix for a bug where some users wouldn't see a map after finishing a run or long walk. Weight trackers will also benefit from increased clarity in trends, making it easier to notice changes.
