A new update for Google Health has been released, bringing several changes to the app's functionality. The v5.07 update includes improvements to manual workout logging, maps experience, and weight tracking.

The most significant change is a three-part improvement to manual workout logging. Users can now add more metrics when logging an exercise manually, edits will appear in summaries more quickly, and there are additional metrics available when switching from pool to open swim exercises.

The update also improves the maps experience, loading them faster, rendering them smoother, and fixing issues that caused them to disappear during running, biking, or walking sessions.

Additionally, trail runs and incline runs will now be counted towards users' running distance totals. The weight tracking graph has been recalibrated for easier viewing of trends and changes.
