Google Health Update Fixes Issues, Enhances Workout Tracking
Google has released an update for its Health app, version 5.07, which includes several improvements to workout logging and tracking. For users who manually log their workouts, Google Health will now allow them to add and adjust more metrics, with changes appearing in workout summaries more quickly.
The update also addresses issues that affected Android users, including a problem where Health Connect would lose its connection with Google Health. This issue has been fixed, and Health Connect should now appear under Partner Apps in the Connections screen.
Additionally, trail and incline runs will now count towards Running Distance totals, giving users a more accurate figure if either activity is part of their regular workouts. Maps have also been improved, loading faster and rendering more smoothly.
