Google Home Speaker Revival: Gemini-Powered Smart Speaker Arrives June 25

Google's new smart speaker, arriving on June 25th, is its first in years and features Gemini AI commands. The device costs $99 and comes in four colors: Hazel, Porcelain, Jade, and Berry.

The speaker, similar to the old Nest line but now powered by Gemini, can take complex natural-language commands like 'turn off all the lights except my bedside lamp'. Multiple commands can be strung together in one sentence.

However, users won't have access to everything this speaker can do for $99. A Google Home Premium subscription (starting at $10/month) is required to unlock features like conversations with Gemini Live and Nest camera monitoring.
