Google Integrates AI-Powered Features into Ads and Analytics Platforms
Google has introduced four new features to its Google Ads and Google Analytics platforms. The first feature, AI Overviews, generates an AI-driven summary of key insights on the Google Analytics homepage. This summary is designed to help users quickly understand what has changed since their last login.
The second feature, a prompt box above the Google Ads homepage cards, allows advertisers to type in questions and receive custom insights generated from account data. This feature is also integrated with Ask Advisor, an in-product agent that can be used for further interrogation of data.
Google has also introduced Dashboards built from text prompts, which convert raw data into visualizations from simple text prompts. These dashboards will be available soon in Google Analytics.
The fourth feature is a benchmarking capability, which compares an advertiser's campaign performance against anonymized averages drawn from similar businesses. This feature is integrated with Ask Advisor and can be used to compare campaign performance across different metrics.
