Google Introduces Image Creation Tool Google Pics for Workspace Users
Google Pics, an image creation and editing tool from Google Workspace, is now available to all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and most business customers. The tool uses a model called Nano Banana for generation and editing, allowing users to create images with precision and ease.
The features of Google Pics include object segmentation, in-image text editing and translation, collaboration tools, multiple generations, and seamless integrations with Google Workspace. This means that users can edit images directly within Google Slides, Docs, and Drive without having to switch between applications.
Google Pics is rolling out over the coming weeks, starting with Docs and Slides, and will be available in Drive in the coming weeks. According to Meg Whittenberger, Google Pics Product Manager, 'We can't wait to see what you create.' Users can try it at pics.new.
