Google Invests $600K in Arizona Water Replenishment Project
Google has announced a significant investment in a water replenishment project in Arizona. The tech giant will be partnering with Trout Unlimited and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove and replace undersized culverts along the Salt River.
The $600,000 project aims to restore natural streamflow and reconnect vital habitats for the Apache trout. It also hopes to reduce sediment flowing into water treatment plants and reservoirs, increasing overall water access.
This investment builds on Google's existing commitment to Arizona, with the company having already supported over a dozen water replenishment and watershed health projects.
