Google Keep Gets Toolbar Makeover with Dedicated Buttons
Google's note-taking app, Keep, is set to receive an update that will simplify adding multimedia elements and formatting options. The toolbar will be redesigned to feature a floating, pill-shaped layout with dedicated buttons for various features.
The redesign aims to make it easier to add richer content like checklists, images, and voice recordings to notes. Google has been testing the new design internally, and users can enable it by downloading the version 5.26.361.01.90 beta of Keep. However, the feature is not widely available yet.
The changes include a separate button for converting regular text into checklists, as well as an option to turn lists back into regular text. Users will also be able to add images and voice recordings directly from the toolbar.
