Google Keep Tests Navigation Bar Upgrade

Google is testing a new feature in its note-taking app, Google Keep. The company has been experimenting with various updates to Keep, and this latest addition allows users to access more controls at their fingertips.

A pill-shaped navigation bar is being tested, which makes it easier to make changes to notes while composing them. This feature is currently available only in the code of the latest Keep build, but it's not yet publicly available. The control bar contains functions for check lists, images, voice recordings, and drawings.

The new features include the ability to delete checked items, uncheck all items at once, and convert to text. These functions were previously only accessible through the undo feature or by manually deleting individual items. However, the pill-shaped navigation bar has some limitations, as it sticks around even when the keyboard is open.

While this update shows promise, it's still in its testing phase, and users can't access it yet. The features are not fully developed, and there may be more time before they're made available to everyone.
