Google Launches Ask Google Pay: AI-Powered Financial Insights for Indian Users
Google has announced the rollout of 'Ask Google Pay', an opt-in conversational AI assistant that uses Gemini models to help Indian users track spending and gain personalized financial insights directly inside the app.
The feature allows for customized answers to common money questions by analyzing a user's past transactions and CIBIL credit report details. It can also evaluate monthly spending patterns, identify where money was spent, and suggest practical savings tips.
In addition to providing personalized financial insights, Ask Google Pay will break down complex financial topics into plain language, making it easier for users to understand concepts such as SIPs, compound interest, credit scores, and tax regimes.
The feature is available in 10 Indian languages, making financial insights accessible across regional demographics. Users can interact with the AI assistant via voice or text.
