Google Launches Pixel Tag Finder Device with Built-in Speaker
Google has launched its first-ever finder tag called Pixel Tag to help users keep track of their valuable items. The small, durable device is made of stainless steel and is water- and dust-resistant.
The Pixel Tag uses Google's Find Hub network to quickly locate misplaced items. It can be paired with an Android device running Android 9 or newer using Fast Pair, and up to 10 people can share the tag to find shared items together.
When an item attached to the tag is out of range, the Find Hub app uses a massive network of over one billion Android devices to help locate it. The Pixel Tag also has a speaker that can play a sound to help users find it and a button to ring their phone when misplaced.
