Google Lets Users Edit Their Handle on Search Profiles
Google has rolled out an update to its Search Profiles feature, allowing users to edit their handle, also known as their short name. This change is now available for those who have created a Google Search Profile.
To edit your handle, simply go to your Google Search Profile, click 'Edit profile', and then next to your current @handle, click 'Edit'. From there, you can select a new handle from the options provided or link a new social account if your desired handle isn't listed.
According to Google's help documentation, which was updated overnight, the process is straightforward. If you don't have a handle yet, you can click 'Edit handle' and follow the same steps.
