Google Lifts Multi-Profile Requirement for Gemini Business Profile Integration
The Google Business Profile integration in Gemini is now available globally for multi-location accounts. This change came as part of an update to correct misconceptions about the integration, which launched on June 10, 2026.
According to Google Small Business, the previous requirement that businesses managing multiple profiles could not use the feature has been lifted. The single-listing requirement now only applies to setting up a business notebook.
The newsletter also addressed other misconceptions about the Gemini integration, including the idea that accounts managing several locations were excluded. In addition, Google Small Business clarified how AI search results are generated, stating that they do not require specialized code and instead rely on quality content and the use of web pages and Business Profiles to ground information.
Google also introduced a support chatbot in the Business Profile Help Center, which can answer questions and provide guidance on profile management. The chatbot is available globally and is live in the United States.
