Google Locks Down AI Features for Samsung Users

The latest Pixel features have left many Samsung users wondering why their Galaxy S25 can't access some of Google's most powerful AI capabilities. The reason, according to Haroun, a writer for Android Police, is that these features rely on Gemini Intelligence, which includes advanced tools like Rambler and Create My Widget. These features require specific hardware configurations, including at least 12GB of RAM and the latest version of Android.

However, some Samsung devices, like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, don't meet these requirements despite having sufficient RAM and running on Android 17 or later. This has led Haroun to speculate that Google might be locking down features based on device launch, rather than technical capabilities.

The situation is not unique to Samsung users, as even some Pixel 10 owners are missing out on certain features. This raises questions about the fairness of such exclusions and whether they will ever have access to these advanced tools.
