Google Makes Gemini Daily Brief Free for US Users Without Subscription
Google has made Gemini Daily Brief available for free to US users without requiring a Google AI subscription. The feature uses Personal Intelligence to generate a list of to-dos and priorities every morning, based on data from Gmail, Google Calendar, and other connected apps.
The Daily Brief is organized into three sections: 'Top of mind', which highlights timely tasks; 'FYI', which shows items with dates attached; and 'Looking ahead', which focuses on long-term goals and suggested next steps to achieve them.
Users can interact with the digest by tapping on items to mark as complete or start a chat with Gemini. The feature is accessible from the Gemini side panel, and Google sends a notification every morning to remind users to check their Daily Brief. This can be disabled in account settings.
