Google Maps has introduced a new feature that allows users to plan group outings more easily. The feature, which was released in an app update on Wednesday, lets users add restaurant options to a shareable list that can be accessed via messaging platforms.

The list is accessible by long-pressing any place within the Google Maps app on Android or iOS devices. Users can then vote on their favorite places using 'thumbs up' and 'thumbs down' icons.

This feature aims to alleviate the difficulties of deciding where to go out with a group, whether it's for a birthday dinner or a night out with friends.
