Google Maps Speedometer Vanishes From Android Auto

Google's live speedometer feature on Android Auto has gone missing for some users just weeks after its introduction. The feature, which shows a vehicle's current speed and posted speed limit, was rolled out to Android Auto in July but is now no longer available.

The speedometer was designed as a floating indicator on the Google Maps screen that would warn drivers when they exceeded the speed limit by changing color from yellow to red.
