Google Messages Gets New Chat That Explains Its Features
Google has introduced a new chat feature in its Messages app that informs users about its features. The conversation appears to be a business chat where users can pick from preset responses instead of typing their own messages.
The feature, currently available to select users, is likely in testing mode and may not be final. According to Reddit user iiDez, who spotted the new chat, it first explains the benefits of Google Messages and RCS before offering preset reply options like 'Show me how' and 'I want more features.'
These options allow users to learn more about different features, but they cannot type their own questions or messages. This means the conversation resembles a simple guide to Google Messages rather than a regular chat.
