Google Messages Gets Redesigned Menu for Easier One-Handed Use
Google's Messages app has been improving its user interface to enhance one-handed use. The latest update, which is currently in beta testing, includes a redesigned menu that makes it easier to copy messages.
The existing menu system was problematic because the toolbar appeared at the top of the screen when pressing and holding on a message, making it difficult to navigate with one hand.
With the new redesign, the menu is now integrated into the message itself. When you press and hold on a message, a pop-up menu appears that allows you to choose from various options such as reply, forward, copy, star, delete, or get more information about the message.
Another notable change is the addition of precise copying of messages. You can now select parts of the message to copy, rather than having to copy the entire message at once.
