Google Messages Now Sends Users Notifications About App Updates
Google Messages is rolling out a new feature that sends users notifications about app updates.
The business chat feature, which was previously in testing, allows users to ask about extra features and receive quick replies from preset options.
According to a Reddit post, the feature starts by informing users about the benefits of using Google Messages and RCS (Rich Communication Services), then lets them ask questions about additional features.
The current version of the feature only allows for predefined quick responses, with regular chat turned off. It's unclear whether this is a server-side rollout or limited to specific regions.
