Google Messages Overhauls Attachments Grid, Rolls Out Long-Press Menu
Google is continually updating and improving its messaging app, Google Messages, with new features being rolled out to users. One of the most significant updates is the customizable attachments grid, which allows users to organize their messages in a more intuitive way.
Another feature that's currently in beta testing is the ability to long-press on a message or image to open a floating menu, making it easier to copy and share content. This feature was previously only available by copying the entire message.
In addition, Google has announced plans to add support for inline replies and photo reactions to Android-iPhone conversations over RCS (Rich Communication Services), which will allow users to quote messages and react with emojis in a more expressive way.
