Google Ads announced that it will be migrating its Travel campaigns to Search campaigns for Travel in the third quarter of 2026. The change is expected to affect existing Travel campaigns, which will be transitioned to new Search campaigns for Travel. According to Google's help documents, this migration will begin in Q3 2026 and new Search campaigns for Travel will be automatically created while mirroring the closest equivalent settings from the original Travel campaigns.

Advertisers can choose to manually transition their campaigns to Search campaigns for Travel before the automated migration begins. Google recommends keeping an eye on email and account notifications for exact dates, as these will provide more precise information about when the change is happening.
