Google Mocks Ugly Smartwatches in Pixel Watch 5 Teaser

Google has released a new teaser video for its upcoming Pixel Watch 5 ahead of its Made by Google event on August 12. The video showcases the smartwatch's design, highlighting that it 'still has the decency to look like a watch.' This could be seen as a nod to other smartwatches with bulky designs.

The teaser follows previous teasers for the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which also featured shadowy outlines of the devices. The new video ends with a reminder that the launch date is August 12.

Pre-orders for the latest Pixel devices will be available on the Google Store and Best Buy before the event starts at 6:00 PM ET on August 12.
