Google held an open house event in Fort Wayne, Indiana to discuss its data center project and address community concerns. The event took place at the Covenant Impact Center from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday.

According to Kelly Rentschler, Google's Community and Workforce Development Manager, the open house was an opportunity for the company to increase transparency with the local community.

Rentschler stated, 'We hope that they see that this is our community too. So, putting a face to Google within our own community... We have several people here tonight who are members of our community, just like them.'
