Google Partnership with Columbia County Aims for Strategic Growth

Columbia County in Georgia is continuing to expand, according to local leaders who gathered for the second annual 'Future Forward Summit' hosted by the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Authority of Columbia County.

The event featured a representative from Google, Jen Ryan, who spoke about the company's partnership with the county and its upcoming data center.

Ryan corrected what she called 'misinformation' that data centers don't employ many people. She said there are hundreds of employees at the Douglas County data center on any given day.
