Google Pixel 11 Base Model Won't Have HiLight, Gets 12GB RAM Instead
Google's upcoming Pixel 11 series is almost here, and leaks are continuing to emerge about its features. One of the new features announced earlier was 'HiLight,' also known as 'Pixel Glow.' This rear-facing LED has been spotted in several leaks, but it appears that only the Pro models will have this feature.
A leak from Twitter user @evowizz reveals that the base Pixel 11 won't have 'HiLight,' which might be disappointing for those who were looking forward to using this feature on Google's most affordable upcoming release. However, there is some good news: the base Pixel 11 will actually come with 12GB of RAM across the board, whereas earlier rumors suggested it would drop down to 8GB.
This development seems more in line with Google's focus on AI features that demand memory. For comparison, the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to have 16GB of RAM on higher storage tiers. Additionally, the base Pixel 10 had a 10.8MP telephoto camera sensor, and it appears that this will remain unchanged for the base Pixel 11.
