Google Pixel 11 Offers Minor Upgrades at Higher Price
The Google Pixel 11 is out this year, and it's a solid but unremarkable Android phone. The $899 starting price is higher than last year's model, despite the removal of the 128GB storage option. This means the base model is technically more expensive than its predecessor.
The design has improved slightly with a slimmer camera bar, making it easier to hold and less awkward in everyday use. However, the specs are largely the same as last year's model, with only minor changes such as a new Tensor G6 processor and an improved battery life of 30 hours on a single charge.
One notable feature is Magic Capture, which allows users to record video and then select stills from it. This feature, along with Rambler, a speech-to-text tool in Gboard, are the highlights of this year's model. However, without any major hardware upgrades, the Pixel 11 feels like an incremental update rather than a significant improvement over last year's model.
