Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: A More Practical, But Still Expensive Option
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is Google's latest foldable phone, and it's priced at $1,899. After spending some time with the device, Nadeem Sarwar from Digital Trends notes that while it's not a revolutionary upgrade over its predecessor, it does offer several practical improvements.
One of the most notable changes is the phone's reduced size and weight, making it more comfortable to hold and use one-handed. The cover display now features ceramic glass protection, and the peak brightness has increased by 20% to 3,600 nits across both screens.
Google claims that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is 3x stronger than its predecessor, thanks to a new gearless hinge mechanism and a glass fiber composite back. This is significant for foldables, which are notoriously fragile and often require costly repairs when damaged.
The camera department hasn't seen much change, but there are some new features like Super Zoom output boosted to 30x and Camera Looks. The faster Tensor G6 silicon should also make the device feel snappier, and wireless charging has been improved.
