Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Bends Under Pressure
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold has failed the bend test conducted by JerryRigEverything's Zack, continuing an unfortunate streak for Google's foldables. The phone bent and stopped working after being subjected to pressure, with its cover display popping out in the process.
In a series of durability tests, Zack found that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold's cover display showed good scratch resistance, but was vulnerable to damage from fingernails or sharp objects. The main display fared even worse, requiring only a level 2 pick to cause significant damage.
The phone's IP68 rating may have been achieved through the use of a rubber seal around the SIM card tray, but it failed to withstand dust and other external factors during Zack's tests. The bend test was particularly brutal for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which suffered from its antenna lines being in sensitive positions.
