Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: Key Differences Revealed
Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra are two high-end foldables released recently. While both devices focus on creating an immersive experience, they have distinct upgrades and differences.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a more durable design with anti-impact film for better protection against drops and a new HiLight hardware feature that gives you light-based communications on the back of the phone. It also packs 16GB of RAM across all storage variants, whereas the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra limits 16GB RAM to its $2,700 variant.
However, the Samsung device has some notable upgrades, including a much-needed battery boost with a 5,000-mAh cell and an ultrawide camera upgrade. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold's battery capacity is smaller than its predecessor at 4,750 mAh, but it still supports 30-watt wired charging and 25-watt wireless charging.
When it comes to cameras, Samsung holds the upper hand with a 200-megapixel wide camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold's cameras are stuck to last-gen hardware with a 48-megapixel wide camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto.
