Google Pixel 11 Series Brings Upgraded Cameras and Processors
Google's Pixel 11 series has arrived in stores, featuring four new models with upgraded cameras and processors. The Tensor G6 chip powers all four phones, providing a 50% increase in TPU compute, up to 25% faster web browsing, and 15% faster app launches compared to the previous generation.
The Pixel 11 series includes the Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold models. The Pro and Pro XL are differentiated primarily by screen size, with both featuring improved cameras and processors. The Tensor G6 chip allows Google to focus more on AI/image processing, resulting in better low-light computational photography.
The camera specs for each model include a 48 MP main sensor, 5x telephoto lens, and 13 MP ultrawide lens for the Pixel 11. The Pro models feature a new main sensor billed as 'Pixel's best camera yet' with improved light sensitivity and zoom capabilities.
In addition to hardware upgrades, Google has also introduced Creator Suite tools on the Tensor G6 chip. These include an on-screen teleprompter, project folders, storyboard tool for organizing clips, and improved speech enhancement. Magic Capture is a new feature that records continuously and automatically selects the best moments and HDR+ frames.
Pricing for the Pixel 11 series has increased across the board, with the Pixel 11 starting at $899 for 256 GB storage, the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099, the Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pro Fold at $1,899. The Pixel Watch 5 starts at $399, and the Pixel Tag costs $29 for a single unit or $99 for a four-pack.
