Google Pixel 11 Takes On Samsung Galaxy S26 in High-Stakes Android Rivalry

Google and Samsung have released their latest flagship phones for 2026, the Pixel 11 and Galaxy S26. The Pixel 11 is available in obsidian, frost, pistachio, and hibiscus colors, while the Galaxy S26 comes in a range of options. Both phones feature a 6.3-inch screen, three cameras on the back, and exclusive features like Magic Capture and Horizontal Lock.

However, the highest-end models aren't the best-selling ones. Instead, it's the standard models that end up in most hands. The Pixel 11 starts at $899, while the Galaxy S26 is priced at $900, but can be found discounted to $775 ($125 off) at the time of writing.

The Pixel 11 has a slightly higher resolution display and faster wireless charging compared to the Galaxy S26. However, Samsung's phone offers gimbal-like stabilization with its Horizontal Lock feature, which provides remarkably steady videos even in hectic environments. The Galaxy S26 also features tools for object removal, outfit change, and photo editing using prompts.

Both phones have their own software merits, including Rambler for better voice-to-text dictation on the Pixel 11 and Bubbles feature for multitasking on Android 17. However, the Galaxy S26's battery life is a concern, with a 4,400 mAh capacity compared to the Pixel 11's 4,985-mAh battery.
