Google Pixel Flaws: Weak Audio, Stagnant Camera Processing
As a long-time Google Pixel enthusiast, I've been using the latest model as my daily driver. While it's not perfect, the experience has been impressive lately. However, there are still some issues that need to be addressed for the Pixel to become a stronger contender in the Android market.
One of the main concerns is the audio quality, particularly the speakers. Compared to other flagship smartphones like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Pixel 10 Pro's speakers are noticeably weaker. They sound muffled and flat, lacking depth and clarity.
The camera processing on the Pixel also feels a bit stagnant compared to competitors like Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi. While it's consistent and reliable, it lacks the excitement and innovation that other brands bring to the table. Google needs to take a closer look at its competitors and consider making changes to its camera pipeline or offering more customization options.
Another area where Google needs improvement is in its mid-range phones. The A-series lineup has been struggling to keep up with the competition, and the latest models have failed to deliver meaningful upgrades. It's time for Google to rethink and revamp its mid-range smartphones and offer something new and exciting.
