Google is revamping its Ask Play conversational search feature within the Google Play Store. The updated version will allow users to attach images directly from their device gallery or camera, providing more context for their queries.

This new functionality was spotted in the latest Google Play Store v52.8.55-34 code and can be enabled ahead of its release. Users will be able to upload screenshots to identify home screen widgets, features, specific types of apps, and more.

Google may also retire the older 'Ask Play about this app' dedicated section in favor of sticky, horizontally scrollable question chips. Tapping any suggestion will invoke the updated Ask Play bottom sheet overlay with tailored answers.
