Google Pledges $1.1 Million for Indiana Water Conservation Efforts
Google has pledged $1.1 million to Fort Wayne City Utilities in Indiana as part of its broader commitment to invest $10 million in water sources around the state.
The funds will support improvements at the Three Rivers Filtration Plant, which aims to reduce water usage by about 180 million gallons annually flowing through the St. Joseph River.
This project is aligned with Google's own goal of replenishing 120% of the water used in its data centers by 2030, a target announced earlier this year.
