Google Pulls Plug on Pixel Tablet, Citing Poor Sales and Profitability Concerns

The Pixel Tablet has been officially discontinued by Google after being removed from its online store. The device, which was launched in 2023 as a hybrid tablet and smart home display, had been listed as out of stock on the Google Store before being completely removed.

According to reports, Google canceled plans for second- and third-generation Pixel Tablets due to poor sales and profitability concerns back in 2024. Despite this, the original Pixel Tablet remained available through various retailers until now.

Existing owners of the device will continue to receive software updates until mid-2028. However, it appears that Google's tablet ambitions have come to an end for the time being.
