Google has released Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 for Pixel devices, which is still on the July 2026 security patch. This update resolves several issues that users have been experiencing, including swiping gestures not working properly and unexpected loud noises during media playback.

The company had previously released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 on Friday, but this new beta release addresses some of the lingering problems from the previous update. The new version includes fixes for a range of issues, including intermittent battery drain and taskbar icons disappearing on foldable devices.

Users can report any remaining issues or bugs via the Android Beta Feedback app, which is available on Pixel devices. Google has also set up an Android Beta community on Reddit for users to share their experiences and provide feedback.
