Google Puts Dividend Payout Back in Shareholders' Hands
Alphabet's Google will pay out $0.22 per share in quarterly dividend to shareholders on record as of September 4, 2026. This payment is identical to the previous one issued on June 15 and represents a continuation of the company's quarterly dividend strategy.
The dividend payout applies equally to all three classes of shares: Class A, Class B, and Class C. As a result, holders of 100 GOOGL shares will receive $22 in quarterly dividends next week.
Interestingly, the total annual dividend payment from Alphabet stands at approximately $10.8 billion, which may seem significant. However, this figure is dwarfed by the company's recent equity raise of $80 billion to fund its AI expansion.
