Google Refreshes Pixel App Icons with Modern Twists

Google has revamped its Pixel app icons to align with its latest design language. The update affects five apps, including the Camera, Calculator, Clock, Recorder, and Weather apps.

The most notable change is to the Pixel Camera icon, which now features a new color palette in Pixel blue. This update coincides with a major overhaul of the in-app viewfinder.

Other icons have also been updated. The Pixel Weather app has switched from a blue background to a plain one, while the Recorder app now features a stylized red waveform. The Calculator app's icon now prominently displays mathematical symbols in green circles.

The Google Clock app is also part of this redesign, with its new icon taking after the design first introduced on Wear OS.
