Google Releases Gemini 3.7 Flash, Takes Aim at AI Rivals
Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest AI model aimed at regaining footing in an increasingly competitive market against Anthropic and OpenAI.
The model was launched on August 13, just three weeks after the previous iteration, Gemini 3.6 Flash.
Gemini 3.7 Flash has beaten rival models in coding benchmarks, outperforming both Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Terra in FrontierCode 1.1 and DeepSWE V1.1 scores.
The model supports customizable thinking configurations and accepts various inputs, including text, images, audio, and video, with a context window of up to one million tokens.
